Only a 3,5h drive up north from Helsinki and you will arrive to Ähtäri. In those few hours you'll see the change in nature surrounding you, from highways to well maintained roads crossing miles and miles of untouched forests. Hotel Mesikämmen is located a few km from the city center of Ähtäri, but still surrounded by nature. A beautiful lake lies in front of our hotel, frozen and covered in white snow during winter and dark blue during summer and autumn. The lake, and plenty of land around the hotel make it an excellent spot for all kinds of outdoor activities all year round.
